Yellow 964 H4 Lenses

When doing the H5 to H4 conversion, are relays necessary? I'm reading conflicting posts about the necessity of relays in the H4 conversion for post-'89 911's (964's).
I am planning to install H4 LED's so the power draw shouldn't be any more onerous than with stock H4 bulbs.

No relays necessary if you use the same wattage bulbs. LEDs haven't been perfected yet as replacement bulbs, I'd wait a few more years for the technology to mature before ordering a set.

Not sure why you didn't buy the H4's with primer rings from me for less than the chrome ring H4's you purchased. I also had the H1's as I mentioned which are a superior light and look but they are pricey.

Sorry to do this to you but just came across this
http://suncoastparts.com/product/911H4CONVERSION.html
$649 for a set with chrome rings and $1049 for primer rings. Used to be the chrome was more. So my $700 including bulbs and mounting hardware for like new condition H4's with primer rings is a fair price.
