Not Delvac... It takes forever to flow during the winter and switching gears in a G50 is unnecessarily balky until it does. 10 years ago when Delvac became the flavor of the month and we all rushed to use it, several of us switched it out after the first winter...

Stick with it? Or use Mobilube PTX which is basically SHC/Delvac that flows at low temperatures. If you are driving in the winter, PTX is a better option.

I did the exact same thing. Heard all the talk and switched to Delvac. Cold weather shifting was annoying. Switched back to Redline NS. Happy camper ever since.

Ok guys. Rear end is in. All torqued and buttoned up.

I'm having new conical spacers machines for the front struts. My hack job bugs me, even though they work fine. So I'll get those in and be done with that issue all together. Can't wait to get out and drive. Car will likely feel like crap till I get the kW set up well enough.

Recommendations for street settings? Someplace to start....

I bought three other adjusters - so I can leave them in the struts full time. Seems odd kW doesn't just supply them with the struts already installed, but there you go...margins.

To all that bought these lately...not a bad idea to switch to the needle bearing upper perches and to go to the kW website and grab some adjusters to add to the struts...

Here are some more pics of the rear shock on my car plus VIN. It's a 1990 VIN but the serial number is well along in the sequence. The car was delivered on 23 August 1991.

The build date should be in your driver door jam

Did you go with KW adjusters or remote adjusters for the rear? The remote ones that Spyerx put in look interesting.

Ah I didn't see those. Would love to add remote adjusters in the rear. They may only get used once or twice. But nice to have.

Can you post me a link? I can't seem to find where he was talking about them. If they are plug and play, I'll do it. I had looked for a remote solution but didn't find anything that wasn't a hack job....

Unfortunately I haven't been able to find them either. The only thing that I can find is something by BC or Megan. I think to use those you may still need to use the KW ***** and then attach the caps to the *****. This may involve some machining on the *****.

I just called Megan Racing and the ID of the Cap is 3/4". I'll need to measure the KW Adjuster **** later today.

I like the look! How wide are those spacers and what are your reasoning for using them? I'm running the same wheels and the same tire size and don't have any spacing issues. I do have some 5mm spacers that I run once in a while to widen the track but it's unclear if it makes any difference?

Spacers make zero difference. They are for looks. And anyone driving a 964 that says different had better be racing in a seriously competitive spec class for 964s....but alas that doesn't exist. So...they are for looks.

In the pick, they are 7mm front and 10mm rear

I switched to 5mm front for the moment. I like the way the bull nose looks better w the 5mm spacer.

Those bullnose lugs, look awesome. I'm dinging the hardware you chose too.
