Betim, the blue 997 Cup looks familiar.
I didn't know you were a board sponsor. Thanks for your help before NASA Nationals this year. I don't know if you heard, but we won!

Not doubting provenance. Don't believe it would have had side repeaters in wing / fender when it left the Motorsport department. Interested to know why it has them now if anyone can shed some light on it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Period photos of the car at Le Mans shows the repeaters were removed, but the reliefs/insets were in the fenders. BBI's pic above also shows the holes in the doors for the nighttime number lamps.

Correct on the side markers and somewhat on the nighttime lamps on the doors. The current doors are not the configuration from Le Mans but rather the one from Spa. The livery is also slightly off but expected since it changed throughout its racing history. Would love to see it back on BBSs.

Just to make sure we are talking about the same, i'm referring to the repeater on the wing, underneath "D.Dupuy" and the other driver names in the photo. RSR front wings did not have these when they left the factory. It is the only 964 variant like this.
It is a race car so it could well have had front wings replaced and they were replaced with Turbo wings. Some of the RSR's that ran in ADAC had wider front wings as they were allowed to run wider front wheels. Perhaps these are ADAC wings?
It is a lovely car and will be great to see it running at RSR V. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Here are some updates on this project. After being in storage for many years, the fuel system required servicing as the safety foam baffling have complete deteriorated as shown below:

I believe the ADAC cars had wider front wings / fenders to allow them to run wider front rims as allowed within the series but that would have been after this car was built and run I think.
Thanks again.
