FS NEW LN/JE 3.8 (102 mm) piston and cylinder kit
I have to sell an unused, new 102 mm LN cylinder/JE piston 3.8 liter kit.
Stock 11.3:1 compression ratio. "Slip fit" cylinders (goes into stock case spigot bores)
The pistons are custom made by JE for a 130 mm (as GT3 Titanium rod) connecting rod with 22 mm wrist pin. They will NOT work with stock 964/993 connecting rods which are 127 mm long and use a 23 mm wrist pin.
The JE pistons are the light weight, extra cost, JE "FSR" or Forged Side Relief ("box style" like OEM Mahle) not the heavier "barrel style" pistons JE offers.
Rods to accommodate these pistons can be easily custom ordered from Carillo or Pauter and make a nice combination with an improved rod ratio as in GT3 and earlier 911 engines (2 liter used a 130 mm rod, and rods got shorter as engine stroke increased).
Kit is completely set up and ready to install with rings fitted by Jae Lee who is a builder of Singer Porsche Engines. $3500 includes shipping in continental USA.
