Default Best Tires for a Porsche 964

Hello, new guy here! I am looking for tires for my Porsche 964 and I was wondering which would be best for daily driving. I live in Florida so aquaplaning can be an annoying and dangerous so that is one thing to take into account.

What tires are you using! (I plan on running 17s all round (17x9.5 & 11)

No thanks, but just out of curiosity why are you selling them? Also, what tires are you using right now?

Hi,

I would run either Michelin PS2's or Continental DWS Extreme's.

I have been very happy with the PS2's I have recently been running. For an 'ok' driver like myself I find them confident and predictable in different weather.

Has anyone used the Continental ContiSportContact2's? I heard that they last for more miles than the ps2's but I could be wrong. I drive 40 miles round trip each day so I need them to last.

Also, I live in Florida so words like "snow" and "winter" do not exist in my vocabulary.

Continental "Extreme Contact DW" 17x225x45 front / 17x255x40 rear on 7.5" & 9" wheels. The sizes you mentioned are unrealistic.

You will thank me later.

I've had several sets of Bridgestone RE-11s. They are very hard to beat. Excellent in water too. If they are made in your size you'll be happy.

Round ones. Always, always the round ones. Trust me, the square ones are not worth the money.
