I am interested in cloth seats for my 993 but there appears to be no such thing. Did the cloth RSA seats come in power and manual? I am interested in a manual set.

There are definately cloth versions of the 993 standard style seats that were installed in late 968 cars. I have seen them in black.
They are not the same style as RSA 964 seats.

Take your seats out and bring them to an upholsterer and have panel replacements done. They will charge you approx 300 for seat centers and you can do them in any fabric you like.

RSA seats are the standard 1986-1994 sport seats, but with cloth instead of leather. They only came with the 2 seat bottom riser motors. Fore and aft is manual as is the reclining portion. Great seats but they go for stupid money these days. If you find a set. Kinda like all air-cooled era sport seats I suppose but even more so...

I was hoping for full manual for weight reasons and want the whole seating surface in cloth...not just the centers.

Yep as Ilko said, even though they have only the up down and tilt motors they are heavy *******. If you could find an earlier set of all manual sport seats (never seen that myself) it would be interesting to see what they weigh, I am suspect that the electrica are only a small part of the weight.

If I remember correctly a set of 993 HB Sport seats in manual were 34 pounds each. I think the regulars were 64 pounds each.

I dunno, 30lbs is a lot for a couple of electric motors... Hell, you could fit two A/C compressors underneath the seat and they will still weigh less than 30lbs

Fwiw, my sport seats came out of an 80's 944. They were full fabric front and black vinyl backs and are identical to rsa seats with the only exception being the type of fabric. They were Porsche script fabric originally.
