To be clear YOU DO NOT NEED THIS TOOL. just £30 worth of used coils and cables and a 6mm bolt.

How did you mount the bracket for the two wiring loom connectors since it's not in the same position as with the 964 coils? (Lying flat instead of vertical)

I'm no EE, but you might want to compare specs between the coils before swapping them over. With too much dwell time they're not going to last very long.

Just mounted them over the existing threaded stud, just add a plastic nut to hold in place, the heat sink is not altered and will do its job.

cheers

Has anyone had problems installing the 993 connectors 928 602 557 00? I bought brand new ones, but cannot seem to get them connected. I can reinstall the old end connectors easily, but the 993 just will not spin on.

New connectors are a tight fit, try spraying some silicone on them to lube or get the new connectors warm so the rubber is flexible

Might try warm them up a little. Already tried the silicone, but cannot get them to connect. Very easy with the 964 plugs.

Got one connected. Will try the other one later. Hope it works well. Definitely like how the coils fit and will be nice to no longer use those silver coils.
