Hi,
Local road conditions play a big role in what tire pressures one should use to protect the wheels.
I like 32/34 psi for general city & road use, but that's not always practical where there are a lot of chuckholes.

18" Tire pressure around town - recommendations?
I am 36 front 38 rear. Steve is likely stickier. I get better mileage...lol...
If you aren't getting the tires hot from hard driving, it's not going to matter too much what your cold pressures are.
I wouldn't go below where Steve quoted in the above post, but I would never go as high as Porsche recommended...the recommended pressures were designed to make sure you under steer heavily.
Keep in mind that you would have 4-6 pounds range cold to hot if you were driving the car hard. So if you think about that, anywhere in the mid/high thirties is going to be fine , so it's a question of you playing around and finding what feel right to you.

I've always kind of wondered about this too. Some of the autox and track guys I've spoken to recommend a three psi difference from front and rear. Currently I'm at 34 front and 36 rear.

I would go with any greater difference than 3 lb between frt and rear pressure. Around town would think you could go a little lower -2 lbs frt and rear for a little softer rider. But, if you drive spirited then keep it at 32/34+. Make sure that the tire pressure is the same side to side, under hard braking a difference side to side can make the car feel a little squirrely - FWIW.

Factory says 36/44 for 8 & 10 x 18. I found the turbo rides better if I run the 44 rear. The ride actually becomes more harsh if I drop the pressure below 40 pounds in the rear.
