Should be a hole right under the nut to fit a socket with an extension onto the nut.

I know this is obvious, but please do not forget to support the engine. Another issue, if you have a hard time with the nuts, I.e. They won't come loose and a lot of force is needed, there is a VERY good chance you will twist the engine carrier bosses. If that happens, you will need to take the carrier out and straighten them, and at that point you may as well weld in the Rennline bracket. Talking about a slippery slope. :-))

Mine came off easily too. Thought is was gonna be really hard to get them off. Nope, came right out.

What mounts did you get?

Don't know if you already have a reinforced engine carrier, but if you don't, it's not a good idea to install stiff mounts, ie wevo or other without doing that. Rennline has the best one.

I bought the 993 mounts. Mine is a street driver, didn't want it too stiff!

So much oil/dirt i couldn't see the pop out discs.

You may need a very deep socket, I believe 19mm, as the bolt on the 993 mount is much longer than the stock 964 mount. I bought a special very deep socket when I installed the 993 mounts on my C2.
