As far as the facebook page goes, you should be able to post pictures and comment to the page but everything goes through approval to keep the page clean and free of junk. We have rennlist to post what ever we want, but trying to keep the facebook page simple. Meet information and pictures, Pictures of members cars, and a little bit of random Porsche stuff, but mainly N9O things. Basically a photo book of our get togethers.

Speaking of meets... it is about time we start throwing some dates and places out there. Everyone wants to come but can't make it. Well what works best?? Saturdays or Sundays?? It would be nice to hit another car event, but if its just us, that's ok too.

Aug 1, 2 Aug 8, 9 ?? Any events coming up?? Any Ideas??

I know we will get different answers but lets see what happens. Maybe we will get lucky and all agree on one date. As far as location, try and keep it central so it's an hour or two drive for most people. Usually it's best to just pick a place and time and whoever can make it makes it... but let's try this thing called Democracy out and see if it works.

I tend to find that throwing up a date with a few weeks notice usually is the best way to get the gang together! I'm going to be publishing your article very soon and will be finishing the logos shortly after.

Cheers,

In theory this is true, but I when it comes to 25 year old single stage paint I would't do it if your paint is in decent condition. On our soft, aged paint when you will remove the wrap it will take a lot of paint with it. However, if your paint is shot and you don't want to pay for respray and you have the 2k for a quality wrap job, then by all means.

There was a time, not so long ago, that nick up in Massachusetts had suggested to get together to do a dyno-day on a 4wd dyno. I'd still really like to do this to get an idea of what my car is doing along the curve. Figure out if I'm on par with your avg stock 964 motor...

I don't know of one near me, though I'm sure there are plenty around.

Who's in? We could do a day and split the cost by all participating.

I would be down for that.

Thought you guys could appreciate this. I was playing around on the NY DMV site looking at custom plates and it seemed that almost every 964 variant has been taken....except for this one

so, I jumped on it!

anyone else have a 964 plate?

Default Newport RI

Hope all is well and this maybe premature but have a 964 going through PPI this week and if goes well will be an owner. I have organized car events in Newport RI (where I live) and have some great connections, mapped out rides proven for a great day... usually included a unique venue, visit to a local collection or other, lunch and so forth... anyway if Newport is a destination any 964 group would want to cosnider I would be glad to help organize, host and so forth. Fingers crossed on PPI...

Newport is a great venue for a car meet, some great scenic rides, top notch venues to host, wives can shop and can even make overnight of it. Anyway just tossing it out there.

thanks
