Found this one picture on the Yorktown fb page of us coming in, I'l check to see what other pictures people upload there in the next few days. I have these from my phone though, would be great if someone was good with a DSLR.

Chapters are named after cities! Soo for example S9O (Seattle 964 Owners) covers the whole of the Pacific North West, L9O (London 964 Owners) covers the whole of England, G9O (Geneva 964 Owners) covers the whole of Switzerland etc, etc, etc
Would 'New York 964 Owners' work as a city name for your chapter?

As you can see by the previous post, this group falls under the umbrella of the W9O: World 964 Owners. All of the chapters are named after a City or State, So W9O proposed that we change the name to N9O: New York 964 Owners.
The best way that I can sell it to you guys is to think of it as a regional name and not specifically for NY. We all still fall under the W9O banner and N9O will just be the regional host. I suggest we all stick with this new name N9O and let it encompass the NY, NJ, CT region for now until there is a desire or need to start a NJ and CT chapter.
If the New York Giants and the New York Jets can play in New Jersey and still be called NY teams, then NJ people should be used to this. lol
I don't have an analogy for Connecticut, but you get my point too. lol

Even if you could not make the meet but are still down with N9O and are in the NY, NJ, CT area, send me a PM and I'll forward my email. Italian car event for driven by Purpose. The Northeast Italian Car Club will host the Testarossa & Italian Sports Car Event this Sunday July 19 at the great waterfront Angelina's Ristorante in Staten Island!
Cars and Croissants at Hacklebarney State Park, 119 Hacklebarney Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853
The CVR region Concours celebrating the 40th anniversary of the turbo at Cranbury Park, Norwalk, CT about an hour plus ride north.
I am attending the Norwalk event anyone else considering?
