[QUOTE=Navaros911;12158513]Life only has so many miles... I try to cover most in a 964.

Can I put that on a poster, frame it, and hang in my garage?:

My 964 has been my daily driver for ages. So here's the thing. I want something to use in the rain and to leave outside and trash, etc. so it's either a 996 C4S or an Audi. Kinda says it all, cuz I don't care either way. Neither makes me excited. Love the 964. Wish I could have more of them.

I too like my 964, a lot, but for a really good time...
a 3.2 with a 915 !
The '86 and earlier 911's are the real deal for serious drivers.
If i feel like driving a modern car I choose the 964. It too is
a lot of fun but the rawness of the earlier cars is missing.
The 964 is more of a car, the older 911's are machines that one has to operate, not drive.
Where the 964 really shines is at the track!
Of course, your impressions may differ.

Feel free... just share a picture when you've got it up on the wall

I was already planning to go for a Sunday drive to nowhere. After reading this I am now a little more exited. I know of a green 964 coupe that is sitting in a driveway for years, flat tires, taillights falling apart etc. What a shame. It's a 91' stick, and only says 80k on the odo. I guess I will drive over there and knock on the door again. They never home. Now I have a purpose to my drive.

Our 964. Purchased new from Bellevue Porsche in 1992.

Without fail, the driving experience is always followed by the comments: "What A Great Car!"
