First day out of the barn

First day out of the barn
I got the old girl out of the barn yesterday. It was literally a barn in the middle of 80 acres of corn fields, so I prepped by placing dryer sheets all over the car. On the tires, in the trunk, engine bay, on all the floorboards, etc. the barn owner also places poison all around as well, since he's using the barn for winter storage for profit.
This is what I found in the drivers side back floorboard....
The blue material is from my car cover. Looks like they ate holes in the underside of the cover's mirror pockets and got into the car via the gap between the door and the fender.
My question is what is the other material? Where does all of that brown fuzz come from? I pulled all of the mats, even pulled the passenger seat (changing head unit and amp), and I don't see any indication of that much fuzz missing from anywhere.
Thoughts?
P.S. Anyone that tells you that dryer sheets prevent rodents from invading your car, show them that pic. It's as if they used it as their foundation.

The only thing that keeps rodents from getting in your car is keeping your car away from rodents.
Next year, park it on a plastic sheet, throw a sheet over the top, and duct-tape the seam.
Buy a couple cans of silica gel and have them in the car to regulate humidity.

Why not replace the carpet? New isn't that much cost and the impact is enormous. It's a messy job, but worth it. Refreshes the car in a big way.

^^ that is exactly the sort of thing my car lives in, except it has a frame. Called an Airchamber. To date, touch wood, it has kept rodents out for 7 years. Would highly recommend it. Whilst electric for the fans is good, I expect it will work fine without but I would tape up the fans!

You'll want to look inside your primary cooling fan in the engine bay. They may not have gone there, but there have been cases of rodents living on top of the cylinders behind the fan. When the car runs, all their chaff in there blocks cooling and you'll have an issue pretty quick.

Mine is protected by 7 trained Doberman guard dogs, razor wire, heat seeking missiles, land minds, and is suspended over a tank a angry sea bass with lasers strapped to their heads.

Off topic, almost done with the head unit and amp replacement. Sounds much louder than prior Alpine and original Blaupunkt amp.

Only thing that keeps rodents out is death before they get in. I line my garage with those wooden cheap traps in the fall and use peanut butter (they'll steal cheese). They're cheap and nothing is more effective. The mice don't get as far as the cars. I also put poison boxes near the cars. Warfarin makes them thirsty and they exit to find a source of water (assuming there is no water in garage). Good luck.
