Update Suspension 1989 C4 NB
I plan to update my suspension for the street. I live in Minnesota and want to order parts while the car is stored. The car has 128k miles and is fully stock with the exception of 17" 993 Cup wheels. My intent it to update any relevant bushings etc, replace the struts and coils such that it lowers the ride height an inch or so. I have no future plans to track it or modify the engine but want to do away with the gaser/drag-type suspension height. My concern is that I have an early 964 production model and understand that the suspension sizing may be different. Can someone point me to the proper thread, email me at henleymn@yahoo.com, or reply with your experience/part numbers/etc? Thank you in advance for the help!

elephant racing has a "refresh kit" available. chuck is very helpful in piecing together based on your needs if you have more questions

I went with SuperPro bushings for both positions in the front control arms and am really happy with it, they are poly but the durometer is 83, so is very nice. No nvh and nice more solid feel in turns.
On terms of suspension, if you want an inch or so drop and refresh; I'd do Bilstein HD's and probably Eibach Pro-Kit springs as their spring rates are most comfortable in terms of spring rates. I'l be selling mine come next week if you are interested, the springs that is.
