Question Seat belt question

I searched around the forum but couldn't find an answer to my question, so I hope someone can shed some light on this.

I'm looking to replace my front seat belts as they look like they've been chewed by a dog or something ...

I wonder what did cause that on both driver and passenger side !

My car is a C2 MY93 and the part number for the front seat belt is 964.803.033.05.
I was looking to buy a used one from here or Ebay, but most of the times the ones available are from pre-93 model years with a part number 964.803.125.03.

Does anybody know the difference between these seat belts? Could I install a pre-93 seat belt on my car without issues?

Thank you

I tried to find it with no luck, but black-betty I believe posted a UK based source for new seat belts that has apparently done good for the L9O guys. Might reach out to him.

That damage is very strange. Was the car even in a wreck?

My passenger side is like that. They're just old. I have to replace mine. I'm probably gonna go with red.

Sometime during 964 production Porsche added a tear strip to the belts because the dismantlers were selling belts that had been stretched in accidents.

There are also differences in the locking mechanisms for models that had airbags. You'll have to check the numbers on the belt material to see if they are the same.

No previous accident as per CarFax and AutoCheck, had PPI done when I bought and no evidence of previous accident

A very similar part # for sale just show up at ebay, but again, not exactly the same
