Two years, tons of maintenance and some mods and I still have less into the whole car than you can buy a high mileage example for today. So glad I bought when I did.

I'm going with the Lance Armstrong approach.....I have never spent one penny (Dime) on my car and definitely never on performance enhancing gains.........

I've got a receipt for everything I've spent on it over the 7 years I've owned it. One day I'll plug them all in to a spread sheet. My current estimate of the total spends is 30,000 GBP (approx $45,000). Mrs B refers to the 964 as our national debt!

That is something I really don't want to know - but am looking for another one.
Next Question: How much time have you spent working on your 964???

The rules regarding the amount spent on your 964 are the same as the rules for Fight Club.

When I was doing the widebody project I maintained a spreadsheet to track costs to ensure I stayed close to my budget - once it became clear that I was going to blow the budget by some margin I decided to stop keeping track. I've got a folder full of receipts but I have no intention to ever tally them up

That's the spirit. Its only money. Its the fun that's to be had that money can't buy (just parts and cars)
