Default Gauge glass delamination

I notice that the 2 glass lens that cover my oil and fuel gauges, are starting to delaminate.

Can you point me in the right direction, to buy replacement lenses?

Palo Alto Speedometer, and

http://www.paspeedo.com/

North Hollywood Speedometer

http://www.nhspeedometer.com/

Are two resources. Believe the lenses have clear, plastic film that can be removed. I recall a thread that RL member took the gauges out, disassembled, and removed the film.

I'll take a quick look but I bet if you search a bit you'll come across it.

Not sure you can buy just the lenses, but if so I'd order from Sunset Porsche

Glad to further comment.

Before they switched to plastic gauge faces they laminated plastic about .050 in thickness to the back of the glass. I believe this was done to protect you from broken glass in the case of an accident. You can pop the bezel and remove the plastic but you risk broken glass flying around if you have an accident. It is very easy to do.
