Racecar, also fun on the street
My car is PCA race legal but its also titled and insured.
Dual purpose, race, DE, sometimes daily driver.
Finally a nice cool 60-70's F day in Florida so I have been driving it around a bit to work and just cruising before it goes to the shop to clean it up a bit and get it ready fro Winterfest DE and maybe Enduro racing in January.
I'm surprised how nice it drives both on track and on the street.
Took a few pics and a little video with the quiet street exhaust installed to pass CA sound at the tracks.

Thanks, I've done 40-50 track days / race days now and so far so good.
I bought it this way, motor is good and happy.
- Balanced crank, ported cylinder head, stock 3.6 cylinders
- Elgin mild cams (titanium valve retainers Jerry Woods valve springs)
- Mahle Pistons (new Ring Set)
- Stock 3.6 injectors and intake plenum with Steve Wong chip
- Lightweight Motorsport flywheel with GT-1 Sachs clutch assembly
- Custom 6 into 1 header & B&B boxed header w/heat
- External oil pump with braided lines
- Carrera Cup oil suction lines (for better oil access and wheel clearance)
- Produces 265 HP

Three Wheelin'
- External oil pump with braided lines
- Carrera Cup oil suction lines (for better oil access and wheel clearance)
These sound very interesting. Any chance we can get some further information and pictures
Sorry, you can't just list a nice spec like this and not expect to have to do some work

Who knows if everything was really there as advertised.
I just know they let me on the race track for the rare occasions I actually race it and it holds its own due to cheater parts I'm sure. I prefer to DE and drive it to work but nice to know I can sign up for an enduro race here or there where my friends are racing.
It just drives great. Its like a GT3 without power steering and maybe 2 seconds per minute of lap time slower than a 997GT3. Sweet on the street and fast at the track.
Added about 500 street miles the lest 2 weeks.
Actually my best times on the same tires:
GT3 RS 3.8 at Sebring 2:20/2:28 at Road ATL 1:34/1:39 and I didn't have a lot of time to find in 997 in cold weather and some time to find in the RSA in warmer weather. I was impressed..
Of all things I'm only updating and cleaning up the interior. The roll cage looks a little ratty and I don't fit low enough in the car as it is now, so we're dropping in low profile sliders and pretty up the inside and adding AC back in.

This car is fast and looks great going around the track. He wheeled the crap out of this out west here and what, lost a tail light and an oil line, that's it right?

Haha, right the car was too fast for the brand new left rear tail light to keep up and 5 newbies in the next green group promptly ran over it of course.
The oil like was cut after swapping to the quiet street exhaust..
No problems after that little fire.

New ice cold AC interior custom cage, shake down at Sebring.
Still a work in progress but it ran beautifully today at Sebring.
Little odds and ends to make it perfect for to me.
Maybe I can get some Harry's laptimer video off the phone.
Sorry for the upside down pic, I cant handle an I phone.
