Congratulations! And welcome to the inner sanctum.

It looks as though you have found a perfect candidate.

Tell us, what are your plans? Or more precisely what will you be using the car for?

Cheers,

Gah, car is not road ready yet. Otherwise I would love to go to on the 19th!

As for plans for the car.. still mulling that around in my head. Too many ideas, not enough money! My previous projects tend to lean more towards the OEM+ styling. That's where I will be heading. Although the W115 was a totally different story. I went a little crazy with that one.

Are we talking about bagging your car? If so, check BDC's ride. His 964 is bagged along with a few others.

We should hook up over the next few weeks. I have a nice 4 post lift in my garage with a few tools and a stocked fridge...lol

No need to ever rent my lift. This is what the Pcar community is all about. Learning and helping others.

I will text you next week. I am closing my trailer the next two weekends. I have most evenings free from Monday to Thursday. November till spring I am home every weekend.

That sounds great Jeff.

I must say, this community is very welcoming. Reminds me of the VW community about 18 years ago when I got into it. And the Mercedes community can be downright snobbish!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone

Always had the hots for that car. Planning anything similar with this one?

It will be quite different than the Benz was. I'll be keeping this one simple.

Were CD players a factory option on the 964?
I haven't been able find any info, much less a manual, on this player anywhere online.
It's a Blaupunkt Chicago CD81

I'm pretty sure that was an aftermarket later CD player. My 91 came with a factory cd-220 CD player that was an option.
