Lol, it's so light I could have left it rattling about loose...
I'm making do with the switch on the battery. It's easy enough to lift the bonnet and press it.

Done! Rack installed..................

Ended up buying rack from Buyautoparts.com. Great folks to work with, reasonable prices. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, even with technical, very specific questions I had. Got rack in 4 days shipped to Columbus from West coast. Wanted to work with rack Doctor initially but were unresponsive to my inquiries, would not return several phone calls, even after talking to humans, not just leaving messages, so why would I send my work to them? Would not recommend.

The job was pretty straight forward all in all. The hardest part was getting the boots on the assembly after installed in the car. Took me at least an hour to do both. Used Pentison 11S fluid instead of Dextron ATF per recommendations I read here.

Back on the road this weekend and one last day today before we get slammed with Winter, coming later this week.

I intend to keep it moving as much as possible this Winter, helps keep seals soft. Ya know?

Didn't do much lately but ordered new wiper arms front and rear.
New key fob.
And the wife had this made from a pic of my car

It's pouring down rain here in Seattle, so this is what my car is doing. Taking a nap, until the next clear day out.

It's an awesome piece of kit - you cannot believe it holds enough power to start the engine, but it does without any issues. Also very handy is the switch at the top that turns it off, which is useful if the car is to remain unused for any length of time.

I constructed the cf cage for it, choosing to maintain the upright position in order to have easy access to the switch.

Definitely something I will get in the future- 15Kg's saved is great!
