@ BeReal:
1. I used cellulose thinner to remove all the carpet adhesive
2. I used a hot air blower to heat and remove the sound deadening then
3. I used a wire brush to remove all the rubber
4. I had the boys in the bodyshop make everything really clean by using sanding paper and so on
@ onevoice:
On the control side i will use some sort of kill switch remote cable - I'll post a picture when it's done

I can only imagine how well a 964 handles with such a rigid shell.

[QUOTE=mark my words;13476826]some interior paint job impressions...(just painted, not polished at all)
This is why I just sold all the interior pieces I've been collecting!
Dan, how did it go? I've been trying a few things on mine but nothing is working.

it will take hours and hours of work with cellulose thinner, hot air blower and wire brush to remove all the rubber... it is a nasty pice of work - but worth it!
It will look something like that when all the carpet adhesive had been removed - then you'll need some good ear and eye protection and you are ready to go...
The last step had been done in the bodyshop with sanding paper and other tools i don't know...
