You can always tell a great car from the condition of the engine bay. What is the existing ride height as it seems lower that standard US or ROW?

Wow....great result! There have been a lot of 964C2 WTB posts on here over recent months. Especially from GT3 owners. Looks like you've beaten quite a few folk to getting one.

Looks great, congrats.

Do you know if the a/c delete took out the fan up front? In other words, was it completely removed, or just the condenser and tubing?

If the up front fan was removed, was an oil cooler installed as replacement?

Thanks,
Tim

It thought that might happen when you made the mention.
Love the car as it is and wow is it going to get so much better when you're done at Rohtsport.

My goal is to duplicate the look and feel of my old 964RS.
Is this the car that you owned?

What about electric GT3 steering?

Good question. Is this needed for a street/occasional track car? Just wondering. 10+ track days with no engine temp problems.... but lots of cheap, greasy tire problems.

Default Old car

Ahhhh that could be my old car. Gives me chills looking at it. Should have never sold it. I hope I can duplicate the ride and feel.

Not sure on the AC.... I will ask Jeff G.

I talked with Jeff about then manual steering rack. Very expensive but I still am going to do it. It will be the last thing on the list

Ride height is almost ROW. It will go lower. Ian had a sharp driveway and had to keep it rally height.

Thanks Chris looks like you found a GT3? Post a pic.

I am a newbie so question is more for my understanding - the car looks a little lower than the other ROW cars I have seen, perhaps by atleast 10 or so mm but the front looks to have been lowered more, perhaps by another 10 or so mm. Would really appreciate some numbers.

I don't think the additional oil cooler is required for track/ cooling purposes. I was under the understanding that it's recommended to keep the car balanced. I'd like to delete my AC and have held off because it seems more in depth than I anticipated. I was planning to simply remove the condenser and tubes, but it looked like the fans needed to come out and the weight compensation was needed. Seems like it might be over thought, but I wanted to see what yours had as it seems like a well sorted car. Does the RS or more appropriately, any factory non AC car. have an additional oil cooler or anything in place of the AC fans? Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist
