I just bought a 964 with the wiper interval stalk broken off. He included a plug in replacement piece. Is there any way to fix this without removing the dash?

I have never done it, but I would take the clock out and see if you can get access that way.

All the gauges are a "friction" fit, you need a tool to pry them out. A screw driver will work, but make sure to protect the dash and the gauge rim. Maybe do a search on " how to remove clock" there is a lot of info and tricks of the trade on the board.
