Good news, but surprising if the damage was so bad that the top was affected.

Quick update - If all goes well, I will be picking up my car tomorrow. I went for a full respray. I have visited the car in the shop a few times, the Guards Red paint just glows in the sunshine.

Awesome Rob. Good luck with it when you get it back. It'll be nice and straight....

Yuck. Glad you are okay though!

I hope the shop is going to confirm all the frame dimensions, it may need frame straightening.

Good luck!

I picked up my car on Saturday. The paint work turned out as good as I had hoped. Very happy. Unfortunately, the driving season is almost over. I'm hoping to get a few drives before it gets stored for the winter road salt season.

Thanks for everyone's support.

Timely, I'm picking mine up today (hood and shark fin respray), hope they did as nice a job on mine as they did on yours.

Looks great Rob, glad to hear you're pleased with the results. Did you end up using Mike's, or a different shop?

Ken - Yes, I used Mikes Autobody. I received many glowing reviews and one strong negative. I decided to give Mike a shot and so far, I'm very happy with the service and results.
