Hi to the 964 forum from a new member
Hi everyone,
I am a new member to the forum and am looking forward to a possible purchase of a 964. I was a semi active member on planet9 when I had a 987.1 Boxster. I am quite excited of the possibility of purchasing a 911 ASAP, and have been reading posts on what to look for etc.
I live in Toronto, Canada and it seems that lots of the cars on sale are US cars. I am now turning my search to the US as the selection is so much more vast. I was hoping that in the future if I wanted help to check out a car and do a PPI someone would help me (I will pay for your time of course).
There are still times I think of going the 997 route but I think the classic 964 shape is amazing.
Have a wonderful Sunday and I look forward to joining the 964 club
Miles
BTW, here is a photo of my 987.1

Welcome Miles!
A 964 C4 coupe is going to be your best bang-for-the-buck. If you can find and afford a C2 in the hotted up market, all the better!
Don't give the 997 a second thought - great cars, but still on the downward spiral with their depreciation, meaning you'll have plenty of time to buy at a lower price point in the coming years.

I did the 997 first, great cars but as already stated, depreciating!
Save yourself the trouble and money, go straight for the 964, you won't regret it...

's are worth the money
Hi There and good luck with your search.
The 964 seems to be a bit quirky, sometimes head-scratching ... but omg what a car to drive. every time I start mine I smile
Rocket and I almost have the same car (although I think I want to goto 17"wheels like his).
