I have a leak also. Coming out the seals I think. Good thing I have a spare rack from the wrecked car in my garage attic. I took that one out, now putting it in will be fun. Do it at some point. I can live with the leak for now. I guess my lift will make this job much less painful. Ricardo, you need 2 lifts!

It's time to wrap different points in paper towels as suggested and go from there.

Yes, I need a portable scissor lift I can wheel in place on the other side of the garage!

#14 seems to be failing a lot these days. Mine has been leak free, except for the rack, after replacing the hose a year or so ago.

I hate to admit using this stuff, and not actually fixing my leak...but someone on here suggested Lucas stop leak for the power steering fluid leaks, and in those case they had gone years without issue, so last year I tried it, figuring if it still leaked I would bite the bullet and fix the rack etc...hasn't leaked since...so that's a lot of money that can now go to real issues...

How much of that additive did you have to add?

I would like to know the above as well-I love simple inexpensive solutions.

This is like the devil tempting me with this additive. First I need to do the paper towel test. Because its the bottom side of the pump that gets covered in oil. Is it coming from banjo or other side of pump???

Forgot to add though, Lucas did refund my money as they guarantee their product to work. Worth a try and if not, company stands behind their product. Can't lose.

Hmmm... my papertowel test points points to hose #16, the low pressure line from the resevoir to the pump inlet. Leak point is at the inlet to pump. Totally surprised by that. I also got that quoted just in case from Sunset but will need to pull the trigger on an order. Maybe I didn't tighten down the clamping screw enough, tube looks plenty squeezed.

I setup another paper towel test for tomorrow with markings on the towel for that location.

Woohoo, my leak is the low pressure line #16, easy fix. I ordered a new hose from pelican for $13, probably just need to tighten the one end clamp
