I'll have to ask if it's cerakote next time I'm in there. Normally we use it for wheels. They have very nice ceramic clear coats in which I used on my new wheels. The metal looks as if it's raw. I went with a satin low gloss clear over the all brushed lips and centers. Center caps were hand brushed red ceramic as well.

Rey, the fan and valve covers are the lighter sorta champagne color. And the housing & intake manifolds are the darker grey. I don't know all the funky names but one is titanium something or another. The oil lines and engine AC bracket are ceramic black. The tins I went with a black powder coat.

I learned so much from dan during this whole deal and I'm never going to forget this experience.

Nah it's not Cerakote.

Fan & valve covers are Titanium. Housing and intake manis are Tungsten.

Didn't get the motor in last week because I was held up with work but still made some progress. Assembled the control arms and finished changing out some sensors and the last bit of stuff on the motor so we can plug it in on Saturday

Here she is patiently waiting for her new goodies...

How have the h&r coils been treating you? Been debating on a set or spend more for kW but I will be a spirited weekend cruiser. Thoughts?

These aren't regular H&R coilovers, they are AH exclusive and you can get them through rotiform. For having my car so low as that's how I like it to be these coilovers perform awesome. Don't ride on bump stops or anything like that. Plenty of travel.

Love the raw finish of the wheels! All business!!! Great choice of wheel and color! Mind sharing the offsets and tire size?

Looks hella clean. On the front undertray, I used my Dremel and removed a bit of material to prevent the tray from rubbing on the lead poly bushing.

Both of you are running the AH Rotiform coilovers? Any difference in ride and feel between the white car w/ monoballs on the front arms and yours w/ poly?

When are you guys gonna go do some racing?

Thanks.... I haven't really driven mine yet because we're dialing in a few things but I'm sure dans rides clearer with the monoball set up. I still am replacing ball joints and stuff as well. Just trying to pace myself a little here. We are both on AH and dan had kw before and was unhappy with them.

As far as racing I don't see that in the future

Those new Rotiform wheels look really awesome, the only thing for me would be cleaning all those little holes in the wheels. I'm lazy and like my 5 spoke ones for that reason.

I thought the same thing cleaning them the first time. Luckily the ceramic clear coat is very easy to clean.
