Don't remind me please...haha
It's all worth it though, when I drive my car it all makes sense...

And the high compression works fine, its runs like a champ. Panamera Turbo does 10.5:1

More videos coming up...

The dyno is very exact as well, it connects straight to the driveshaft. No rolls.

Yesterday I was at the track and I had no problem overtaking a 997 turbo S on the straight. The GT3's where nowhere. I have tracked this car several times and the proof is not in the numbers, its in real life when you realise how everything around you is awkwardly slow.

1280kg and a little over 700Nm does that.
So awesome

Have you made a call on the turbos yet? Whats the expensive bit of the turbo rebuild, seems mad money for a k16? I've got a few K16's of various states if that helps at all? Hope you get things back up and running soon.

Just looking at the Tial's right now. Checked the other ones suggested but they are not ideal for my project. Borg Warners are too large, they won't fit.
GTX28's are a downgrade compared to the Tials as their response is lower and I don't need the higher top end. The Tials come with custom turbine wheels, they are not straight copies of the G28RS.

Car will be ready around the second week of Januari. I just got into the whole GoPro thing, don't have much but I do have some from our Alp trip a couple of months ago... I'll edit some.

I talked to someone yesterday about Turbos options for my car.
He used to build the F1 Turbos and turbos of Group B cars.
Since he makes most parts himself, except the casing I asked what it would cost to repair a turbo. He said, he would need to know whats wrong with it first.

Send me a PM, maybe I can get you in contact with him, to rebuild your turbo/s.

Anything I need to know about drive shafts? There are two kinds for the 964 right? Are the Turbo/RS ones the same?
I need to get new so might as well get the strongest/lightest.

Hi,

I am not sure they fit:

You can also check with Torqline. I know they have build one-off drive shafts:

I read somewhere here on RL, think it was a post by Colin 9M, that there are hollow driveshafts for the RS models, they would definite be lighter and stronger.

Gearbox (964 turbo) checkup. Everything was fine and I added the stiffer mount. Also switched the original LSD for a Guard 40/60.

Disco potatos mounted! Just working out some details in the plumbing but should all be ready this week. Looking good!
Also having a larger (92L?) fuel tank mounted, should help when I am on E85.

Sweeeeeeet! Am I mistaken in thinking this is a pair of '30s' flowing well up to 850HP? ;-)
