I love how Singer takes the best bits from various 911 generations and wraps it all into this package.

I think the word they are struggling for is backdate. Annoying watching them struggle to come up with a term.
Am I the only person that would rather have the look of a 964 then the mid 60's early 70's look?

Did I hear him say the 964 is the best air-cooled platform? Think the 993 folks will be upset? lol

I thought same thing. Leno is not that well versed on the 90's 911. Leno also didn't know the hp or the displacement.

I didn't sense any real passion in Jay's presentation of this car. Maybe he doesn't 'get' it. Actually I'm on the fence if I 'get' it.

To me these are absolutely gorgeous hot rods, but I look from the perspective of what ideas can I use, rather than lusting after owning one. They seem to be going to countries with money and no real historic Porsche connection e.g. Dubai and Indonesia. Like ordering a piece of art.

I don't want to take anything away from the car or the builders, but I'm more in the Magnus Walker camp, even though I'm a 964 tragic and he's a long hood and early Turbo man.

I hate to say it, But Magnus thinks drilling a door handle and putting in center fuel fill and wheels is doing major work. He even says multiple times on videos that the door handle is his "signature" mod. I am not a fan of his paint job on his most well know car. I have to agree with the builder in this video that he is a one man marketing machine. I get it, I am just a fan of original.

Each to their own, some people like to use "of" instead of have, and "then" instead of than.

Its funny you totally can tell when jay leno doesn't think much of a "car guy" - he corrects them really tersely.

Agree its more of piece of art, tho I won't send it back if i get one for xmas. That bit about spending 5k making a 300$ intake look fancy; you what!?
