Any instructions out there on how to drop a C4 Torque Tube?
I am wondering if there are any DIY Instructions out there with pictures on what is the easiest way to drop down a C4 Torque Tube.
I need to replace a Torque Tube coupler.

I have only disconnected one end, during an engine/tranny drop but both ends appear to be attached the same. I would suggest that you read through Garrett's thread. The key posts to look at are #7, 8 & 9. Those show the connection of one end of the the torque tube. I will tell you that accessing those bolts is not fun but it can be done.
I can't remember if its also documented in Adrian's book or the factory workshop manual. I'm at work. If you need me to check, I can do it tonight.

On the transmission end the four big bolts are easier to get to, the top two via the tunnel access panel under the centre console coin tray. You'll need to pull the centre diff slave cylinder which can be a pain.
Do you need an excuse to drop the engine and do the clutch? In might well be worth it as it will reduce the "wasted" work involved in dropping the tube.
Out of interest what's wrong with the coupling?

Coupling shattered.
Clutch is in great shape and its a car I am selling so I would rather save the funds on a clutch when it doesent need it.
Do you think it is possible to drop just the tube without taking out the front diff or engine/trans?

The front diff is only supported by the tube afaik so will need to come out to drop the tube.
No two ways its a lot of work I'm afraid.
That's bad luck, I've never heard of a broken coupling.

Yeah, front sub frame needs to be lowered a few inches, steering column disconnected in the footwell, front cv joints obviously, i cant recall if you need to disconnect the power steering pipes at the rack. The top two bolts on the front diff have tight access i removed the centre console and used an 3ft of extensions on the end of a long breaker bar slid thru the gearstick hole down the top of the tunnel.
