Not a subscriber but got excited when I saw this post. I made a special trip to Barnes & Noble this afternoon, only to find they still had the December edition on the shelf! Clicked on the link and found that this Feb. edition will not be available until 12/24. Oh, well. Something to look forward to, I guess.

My subscription always arrives late
and I'll be travelling in EU when it does arrive... not too many stores have it in their racks there.
Perhaps you guys can tell me how good it is

Just picked up this issue at B&N this evening. Author Bryan Joslin adds nothing to the 964 story and rehashes tired, old phrases such as : " Isn't the most beloved of 911s; awkward middle child; second class status among 911 enthusiasts" just to name a few.
He then goes on to state that "Resale values bear this out with examples routinely offered for ten grand or less". Yes. He actually put that in print. All of this was on the first page of his "Buyers Guide". It's really a shame that no one at Excellence bothered to proofread his article. Too bad Bryan (with a Y not an I) didn't decide to further educate himself on this matter by conducting more thorough research.
The "On the Market" side bar to the article continued to make additional swipes at the 964 and admitted that "the occasional rough example will pop up for ten grand or so, the value of a solid runner runs north of $20k".
Save your hard earned $5.99 and put it towards a copy of TOTAL 911. Not sure where journalism has gone, but suffice it to say this article contained enough weak sauce to persuade me to never buy another issue of Excellence again. If anyone wants my copy, let me know. I'll ship it free of charge (lower 48 only of course as I am already out 6 bones...).

Hyped article turns out to be poorly researched. Contained a lot of opinion, too bad another published article perpetuates this undeserved image. Who is this guy Bryan Joslin anyway? I won't be renewing my subscription.
