Rey I think the faces are matte anthracite with gray gloss lips and semi gloss black barrels.
Nearly there. Waiting on the glass guys to show up. Have to figure out a day to head down to ct to have the wheels and roll bar installed as well. Then wait a month or so to have it detailed, paint protection and vinyl
Almost a car again...

pleae indulge my first world probelms rant:
damnit why do i have the worst luck with this car? its been painted for weeks already. literally done. waiting on glass still with no end in sight. these guys have been beyond mute when it comes to communicaiton. we have no idea when the new windsheild will come in.
today was supposed to be a good day. the roll bar and wheels were suposed to be delivered and installed after a bit of confusion last week. well wouldnt you know it, when the shop who mounted the tires was putting them into the truck, and one of the wheels' faces was badly scracthed. now they are being broken apart and coated again. just another delay in an already drawn our process.
/rant
on the plus side, its finally been nice enough in boston to get the bike out. cleaned it up and took my first ride of the season yesterday.
so i have that goingo for me. which is nice

Man that blows, sorry to hear about the latest misfortunes but kudos for seeing it through, it would have been easier (and probably cheaper) to throw in the towel. I love the blue accents and it'll be an awesome finished product. I hope you get it back soon.

Dragsters. The stumbling blocks suck but ultimately it will make it that much better in the end!

Bike has no battery, gauges turn signals. Very raw and exactly how I wanted it. It's the first bike I've ever ridden.

Haha thank you. Plenty of time has been spent photographing and writing about it. It's been in a few magazines and websites. Look up Choppahead Tronsa. It's a combo of a 68 bad firebird frame, 76 triumph t140 Bonnie motor, with a cbr600 front end, and cb600 rear swing arm. Boss tank, Custom rear cowl, and brakes.

I'm not much of a bike guy....but a lot of my friends are into bikes and I'm sure they would be interested.
Thanks

^^ Choppahead in New Bedford Ma built it for me. I came to them with an idea for a mono shock triumph cafe build, and this is where we ended up.

Progress.. Man feels like I'm always saying that.
Car is off to eurotech to have the brakes bled and to finally have glass installed. Then it's back to the paint shop for a final spa day.
Still waiting on my wheels and roll bar. Hoping that got all sorted out. Certainly not for lack of effort on his part. Just seems like my projects tend to hit a few more snags than the norm.
Gratuitous flatbed photo...

Solid day. Wheels and roll bar showed up, and allegedly the glass was installed. Also got a full set of tail lights. Pricey but worth it
