There was a guy here who fabricated some lights that looked pretty much exactly like those singers. Cant remember who, but it was within the last 6 months. Someone had posted a link to the ebay auction where he was selling the car, and then the owner chimed in about it.

There's 3 options.
-D-Zug (projector based HID)
-AP Car Design (reflector based HID)
-DIY
DIY example.

The Singer piece is nice but it is not available as a kit. Additionally, if you look at the Chris Harris Singer vid, you'll notice it's just a Hella projector and a big dish. The issue is the layout of the fender's headlight bucket on the stock car is not flat and perfect for projector mourning like on the Singer cars (bespoke carbon fenders w/ flat back).

The Retrofit Source is about to make a 7" Turn-Key Sealed Beam Retrofit. This should make a DIY easy and very hi-quality.

The Singer lights look awesome, but I think the D-zug ones look a bit 'startled'. The car looks shocked and wide eyed!
The thing with the Singer is everything works together, it's not just the headlight bowls that are tweaked, the sidelights or driving lights next to the indicators are updated too. Even the indicators look different and more modern. They have looked at every component and made it better, maybe that's why they look so much better...?
Ditto on the mint green car though, hope it's not for cutting...

Great, so glad you guys appreciate the 964.
You know we do
Just a quick question (and if I can save up enough for a Singer) - is there a certification process in the States, much like Ruf have in Germany? I can't significantly modify a car in Singapore unless it's approved and certified by a "manufacturer".
The worst part is not so much getting caught by the authorities, but in an accident, the insurers here tend to repudiate the policy based on modifications. So once it's certified and endorsed by the authorities, there's no possibility of repudiation.

I think the answer is that Singer is NOT a manufacturer but offers parts and services that enhance Porsche's 911.
The car is as certified as it'll ever be as it's still a Porsche 964.
