Made some more progress...

Question:
I want to remove the kick-board, but the access to the right screw is blocked by the gas pedal.
How do I remove the gas pedal?

BTW: I hate the gorilla snot glue!

Thanks!
Andrew

Pull the pedal back and the throttle screw will pop out. Then use a socket wrench to loosen the two screws at the base of the pedal. 2 minutes.

More progress...

The insulation behind the pedals was soaked in water. Is it pretty common? If so, where is the water usually coming from?

Also, is there an easy way to remove the harness clips? Ive been bending them until I can slide the harness out from underneath but that puts some strain on the harness and the clip itself.

Due to some damage to the harness I will be re-sleeving it. Fire protection is a plus but not necessary. Im looking for product recommendations.

Thanks!
Andrew

Cleaned the rear! Used 3M spray on glue remover. Sprayed soaked, scraped with a soft plastic scraper, wiped with shop towel. Took 4 hours just for the rear. I have a feeling it will be a looong week after work.

I'm amazed at how clean you've got it! I couldn't get mine anywhere close as good as that. I tried a few products but all were less than average. Will you respray the interior?

I'm debating a re-spray vs a color-coded bedliner. The later has of course some minimal insulation properties. Also unsure if I want a lightweight carpet for some comfort. I'm definitely not putting any sound dandening under the carpet.

In terms of the exterior paint I'm waiting on some decisions from my insurance. My personal inquiry to the shipping error/damage has taken me nowhere. The shipping company has somewhat admited their fault on the phone but they wouldn't continue email chain with me. They also said that no matter what they will not pay for the repair.

BTW: Insurance adjuster noted he has seen this sort of damage before and it is acid. In the photos I had requested from shipping company, I noticed the car above was parked in reverse to mine. It's battery would be right above the rear of my car.

Look into this http://www.lizardskin.com. BTW, which 3M adhesive remover did you use? Amazing transformation.
