Default A/C not very cool

The A/C on my turbo does not blow out cold air at all. The system was recharged within about a year or so.

My RSA's A/C blows very cold.

Anyone have thoughts as to why this is happening still and what I can do to remedy it. I understand that 964s are notorious for poor A/Cs.

Thanks for your help!

Is the compressor cycling on and off? You probably have a slow leak somewhere.

I will have to listen to find out.

I assumed by all my searches that there is probably a slow leak.

Could there be any other explanation?

likely your evaporator has a leak.

Low refrigerant level due to leaks are the most common failure in the 964 and 993 HVAC system. Have a look at my DIY pages for details:

Yep if the clutch on the compressor is not cycling in and out the gas has dropped to a level damage could be caused so it will cut off. There will be a leak somewhere.

Ideally you need an AC tech to put some UV dye in it to ID the leak location. Chances are the condensor in the front LH wing is shot or the evaporator (big job to get this out). The good news is parts are cheap enough and bar the evaporator easy enough to do.
