I used to have a 2+2 '69 model series 2...with the 4.2..Is yours a post '65 with the full synchro gearbox? Always envied the guys with the triple SU set up or even webers...Always needed a 5th gear for my taste for the top end bit...Great cars..found that I was replacing rubber and stuff in Dallas heat at a prodigous rate to keep it looking good...Took some honors in the local JOA concours... hope my Porsche turns out as nice as the Jag was..still working on it ....Thanks, tiger 03447
