Car won't start after battery drain...
While I search here's the symptoms:
I'd allowed the battery to drain over a period of 3-4 weeks while doing some cosmetic work. Work completed I've had the charger on for a couple days. With charger still on I turn the key and it clicks but no turn-over. Unplug the battery and turn the key, nothing happens (no clicks). Charger says 'charged and maintaining'.
Screen lights with ignition on, and pulses while charger plugged in. Unplug charger and pulsing stops.
Alarm (cobra system installed last year) works, as does remote locking.
Apologies for posting prior to searching but 2 kids under 2 at bedtime limits my down-time!
any suggestions very much appreciated

Have you checked the voltage of the battery? It should be between 13-14v (or there abouts). Even though the charger is saying it's charged, it could be bad.
If you don't have a voltmeter, you could check it with a set of jump leads and if it starts OK then you know your battery is toast!

Battery is a Bosch s5, silver plus code HSB010. All connections are clean and corrosion free (thanks for suggestion though).
Car jump started, left both vehicles running for 5-10 mins and then disconnected leads. Turned porsche off, tried turning it on again and nothing.
Will pick up a voltmeter but looks like battery is goosed, seems strange (to me) after such a short life?

What I learned is that leaks and alarm system reak havoc on the batteries of these cars unless you drive everyday. I installed a battery maintainer and left it on all winter. In April, the car started right up. When I think it may sit more than a week I plug it in. I have it wired directly to battery and a plug so it is easy to do.
So far so good I would say.
