Cheers fella. How are you getting on? I can't check 911UK since I've been banned - speaking of the L9O is sadly forbidden there.

Yes in fitting with the car, we're doing a hybrid. RS door cards with pockets, 993RS handles, leather pull straps with red stitching, tweeter delete, speaker retained (will change out for an all in one unit) and manual winders...

Regarding the wheels I believe and experience lighter wheels are far better for handling, do you guys soften the rebound and compression when drive around those roads and maybe 2psi less pressure ?
Soon. Much of a muchness. You pull and push in all sorts of directions with your performance mods. There's always an element of the heart and RUF wheels have mine. My personal take on wheel weights is a page back.

How are you getting on mate, drop links sorted?

Well the carpets are as thin as RS items. It's the sound deadening that weighs the amount.

Hi Frank,

Oh b*****! That's a shame! I don't know why you can't mention L90, what's the problem with that? It's a not profit making, just a group of like-minded individuals enjoying the marque

I don't suppose you will be losing sleep about it though

I'm doing well thanks. Re: Mine, there's nothing on the 911UK which hasn't been posted on here but next month will see things moving again and I'll update the thread.

Keep flying the flag,
Paul

Indeed we're free and open to all. We aren't a forum so no competing there either. Test the water if inclined... start a thread mentioning L9O and it'll take probs less than 48 hours to be deleted.

Sandeep is infamous for burning bridges with specialists/ his own mods/ banning anything that could possibly take people away from his site if they don't line his pockets... I'm sure most could list a handful.

Shame as he's probably excluded the biggest collective of active 964 owners in the UK.

There's no way of joining, as there's nothing to join: It's free and open to all as ever. We have a Facebook page (in my signature), like it and keep an eye out for events. Listed here on Rennlist too!

PM me or find me on Facebook under Frank Pereire, if you want details on SPA. Would be great to have you.

Ooo that's a lovely moody shot. Tell me about it, I've driven on those cobbles in mine. Falling apart are definitely the right words to describe the feeling!

Wheels have arrived via a Rennlister.

As described there is a small amount of curb rash, but it doesn't matter since they're winter wheels atm. Was debating if I wanter to paint the RUF logo on the centre caps black but in truth it's probs a bit more subtle and I can't be arsed.

The other idea I've been toying with is white tyre script. Probs wouldn't go on these wheels but you get the idea. Haven't stuck them down.

These arrived the other week for free from Highgate House one of the L9O partners. They'll be handed out for this Sundays big photo shoot. In the future they'll be up for sale for any one that wants one.

Available in black, silver, gold, blue & red.

Some BBS decals for my track wheels. Went with black as opposed to the red for it to be more subtle. Seat belt receiver covers in black leather with red stitching.

These wheels in 19 inch fitment for 993s came in either Mag on the left or Alu on the right. Interestingly the Mags are lighter. The visual difference is the small edge lip. The Mags were recalled by RUF following some suffering from small cracks.

The 18 inc versions I have are Alu, despite they really do weigh a lot. At some point I'll probs rap them in performance winter tyres.

And that's it no more news, I'll be picking up the car later this week from Southbound. No. 27/ Jack will be swinging by to borrow a set of wheels for Sunday's shoot which will involve messing around with offsets. Happy days.

I've been toying with the idea of white tyre script as well. I think it'll look good! I also like the Ruf on the centercap painted black. As always, nice work Frank!

Couple a pics from Southbound. These are a few days old, car is now finished. Picking up tomorrow and gonna pop in on LeMass to talk about a bent jacking point and a broken seat mount that the seat rails bolt too. After that car goes to RedTek on Wednesday for a check up & service pre SPA with the gang.

Ignition surround in black anodised. Mine kept dulling despite multiple sand downs and resprays.

In black. And that'll be the interior details done. Actually the manual window winders also need to be dropped in when they arrive. Anyway I'll do a proper little article on the interior for the L9O website soon, with pics of the finished interior.

Also here's a group shot of the L9O... from yesterday. They'll be an article on this visit to BS Motorsport soon. That's all for now.

Frank,

The interior is going to look great, and the meet photo is superb!

Looking forward to seeing more.

Many thanks,
Paul
