Am I the last one to twig that there is a link in Frank's sig.. "Molested" to the new BB web site?

Great site, I got there in the end!!

Links are great, superb story and detail behind the whole Black Betty project/affliction.

Can't wait to see the results of photo shoot and videos?

Off to the Alps.

Just booked a long weekend break. Will be travelling across Europe and into Switzerland by 964. Will take lots of pics.

This should finish off the break in period of the engine. Then she'll be back to GTOne for an oil change, valve adjustment, short shift kit, rear poly bush kit, gear *** cap, red rev dial face and mounting of this little Heuer stop watch.

Cool - site needs some updating. Will do soon. Video out 15th/ 16th.
Once the flat-slides are on I'll get a magazine article/ photos in.

I don't believe it!! I've been scanning these on eBay for the last 3 months. I was looking at the Rally Master set but they are generally mad money and was contemplating either going for the monte Carlo tachy or one of the heuer 8 hour stop watches. That's a great clock Frank. Did you get it from the Fujiyama Bros people in Japan ? Loving your taste in cars and clocks

Okay let's get back to the short shift kit, I'm after one but was told that it was a bar steward to fit? A bit of cutting and welding involved. Is that the case?

OT! No welding, only a bit of cutting for 1990 cars. AFAIK. There's plenty of info on other threads ;-)

If your car is a 1992 C2 or newer, it's a stroll in the park, the earlier models need modification to fit the shift tube bushings, not a big job, a C4 is a different story altogether.

Yes - Fuji Bros.
http://www.onthedash.com is a great resource.
I agree the Rally Master is just to ££££ IMO the Monte Carlo fits in better with our 90s cars.

What's your thoughts for mounting the dash timer Frank?

Just bolt to dash or try to integrate it some how?

It'll look great either way

On a C4 you need to dimple or box in the bottom of the shift lever as shown above

I dont think its too difficult though, and its a cheap mod
