hey john don't mean to ask a dumb question but how does the solid state differ from original does it lose the pendulum inside or just different circutry?

No, C4 has two of them, C2 only one

Nice! Good to know there are parts out there beyond just one suppllier. I'm allways worried about NLA stuff... Especially with required parts like thism

Yes, there is no pendulum, no moving parts at all. This should make the output signals much more reliable than the old sensor.

They have been road tested in a 928, no long term testers yet, but the fully solid state, encapsulated design should ensure a long troublefree life.

This is only fitted to the Tiptronic C2's, It's located in the centre console under the flasher unit.
It sends info to transmission control unit for acceleration/deceleration and lateral g-forces.
An example of it's use is it detects when your cornering at speed and does not allow the transmission to upshift

I see what you did there.. you grabbed two older iPhones then...

That's awesome you have created a solution. Super glad to hear that someone can help with a growing list of NLA or Unobtanium parts.
