reprogramming the spoiler

You can contact RL members Springer or Lorenfb - they make repairs to the module.
I can repair the unit at the price of the parts replaced, but you need to send it to me soon, I have a big project off-island end of April.
I haven't moved forward on designing a new module - the timing of the module isn't really an issue with me.

I am very interested as well and I bet there are some more people in The Netherlands that would be interested.
I found a wiring diagram a while ago on this forum. I can't seem to find it anymore will see if I have saved it somewhere
[edit] found it:

A proper modification of the control unit (preferably reversable or programmable) will be an ideal option.
I have done the disconneting the pins mod and I am quite happy. I tried to find a simple way of installing a timer relay to be able to lower my spoiler with a single tap in stead of holding the switch.

I'm thinking about making a few programmable modules based on cotowns efforts, using a picaxe 14m processor, etc. It'll slip in the same plastic holder and case of the original. It'll be programmed via a USB connector....though I'm not too sure if the usb chip (cp2102) offers a Mac driver. It'll be a few months from now.

Bassie,
Here's the post from cotown. I'm using a picaxe 14m, circuit board will have the same physical dimensions as the original, so all you will need to do is re-mount the circuit board in the same plastic case.

I'm behind schedule as usual... I was forced to partake in prolonged surfing excursions when a south swell appeared last week....
But I did prototype a circuit using the cheapest USB to TTL module on ebay to program the picaxe. It looks like the CP1202 has a Mac driver.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/150689787403...ht_3986wt_1215
And I've obtained 10 relays for 5 initial modules

And I'm starting on getting a PCB layout together...using Diptrace with Sunstone.com to do the pcb fab.

you don't want to miss the south swell...
All the other stuff sounds interesting, but I don't understand anything, other than the usb connection
If you get it to function properly
