Will be good to see you there James...we'll wait up to a have a beer with you. I've got the ball rolling by booking a room. It's a good size hotel with plenty of rooms:

Friday stop over at Premier Inn, East Midlands Airport:

1. Boxsey - booked
2. Bigunit
3. JamesT
4. Cheeksyboy (joining for beers)
5. Freedman (joining for beers)
6. Liam - booked

Trackday now sold out and will be nearly all Porsche.

I've just booked an evening session at Donny for Wednesday 13th June (with BaT). Should be 2 or 3 964s there too.

I really doubt the car will be ready in time for this. I'm generally told it's a 2month build - and I still haven't finalised the builder. I guess nearer the time, when I know for sure - I'll pass on the ticket.

7TH July - 964s @ Donington:
1. Steve
2. Grant
3. Pesty
4. Alex
5. Andrew
6. James T
7. Wagonface
8. Paul
9. Steve C
10. Leslie
11. Christopher
12. Frank
13. John (oldtimer)
14. Kevin (yellow 964RS)

Friday stop over at Premier Inn, East Midlands Airport:
1. Boxsey - booked
2. Bigunit
3. JamesT
4. Cheeksyboy (joining for beers)
5. Freedman (joining for beers)
6. Liam - booked

Of course it's alright! Westy or Hornet? My buddy Ian has already booked his 964RS on and hopefully a couple of others will be joining us.

BTW it's the GP layout which although not as flowing, adds some variety. Garages are usually free in the evening, I'll get there early to grab one.

2 Months is the preferred comfortable period....it's defo a weeks work if there's more to replace than envisaged, but I have stripped and rebuilt engines in 48 hours before, and that included getting a local place to regrind the crank! Obviously that was on a boggo Vaux engine, not a Porsche unit, but I'm sure any respectable engine builder can do it within a fortnight!?

If it doesn't work out for you, have a word with Gary seeing as he's not booked/decided/doesn't know if he can do it yet.

Working car or not we still expect you to be there for the fun of the day and video duties...and beer the night before if you can.

Frank, obviously hope you will be all sorted and can take part yourself but if not let me know, I hope I'm in a position to take your place

Glad to see that you're now booked on the June evening Grant. Oldtimer has booked on too. Should be a nice little gathering.

That sounds cool, and with so many 964's in July it'll be important to get a bit of additional track knowledge!
