Tail of the Dragon
I decided to drive down to check out the Tail of the Dragon. What a great time. The roads down there are outrageous. Met up with a cool group of guys too.
Oh, as if things aren't sketchy enough I found out this morning that you have to watch of for bear too.
Sample video of some roads we hit (not our group however).

Thanks Ceby...and yes the roads are awesome.
Smokey...I thought I had responded to you but it appears I hadn't (sorry). I couldn't imagine coming around a corner and seeing one of those. I think (worst case) that you would be able to brake and hit them at a much reduced speed (assuming you didn't swerve into the abyss). It was clear from one direction that trucks were not welcome but the other...not so much. My GPS actually had me take 129 in the final leg from Dayton to Andrews (so I can see how folks could get hosed up). I'm always amazed at how fast the locals can take roads like that in their pickup trucks.
