Boxsey: Thanks, they look a little better IRL. I wanted some protecting coating otherwise the wood will wear, suck up water and so on. If you look at the piece of board behind the pedals you'll that it's not "natrual". so I tried to imitate this look. I used stain color (I think it's the correct word) which gives a transparent look with a coating like lacquer. They are a little darker than stock but I think the look of a Cup-board today is much brighter than they were 20 years ago due to wear and sunshine.

Rest of you: I think we can do something with the washers and brackets we still have. The bracket is a very exact copy. the washers are a little too round at the bottom compared to the real thing. But the diameter and the depth, the size of the flat "edge" is correct. Use a M6 bolt, 15 mm long and use pop-nuts for fastening. And it will look really good!

I'll be back!

What thickness if the plywood that the cup cars used? I used 6mm and it seems a little flexible.

Where are these bolts fixed? How many?

Where is the bracket fixed?

It's a standard size, 6,5 mm plywood. I see what you mean with the flex, but when mounted it works and you want it light ;-)

You drill two holes in the console/beam on the floor and then fix two pop nuts in the holes. The braket should be welded to the side of the tranny tunnel and the floor. You can also use a strong glue, like PL400. Drill a hole in the bracket to for a pop nut. Then mount the bord with the washers and the M6 bolts.

That's the same thickness as the rest of us have used. When you think about it, the boards are only to make the floor flat and to support your heels while driving. You don't put all your weight on the boards, even when getting in and out of the car. And as Thomas points out, they're nice 'n light

I will take 2 sets if the parts are available, one for the 964 and the other for the 993.

Great find if they are available.

OK guys!

I've talked to my friend and convinced him to sell what he has left. We can put together 10 kits inlcuding 2 brackets and 6 washers. He's friende can't produce any more kits. The price is 50 Euros plus shipping but I don't know the cost for that yet, but maybe 10 Euros depending on country. So we do it like this:

I've gone through this thread and found 8 people who said they want a kit posted in a timeline. When I see two more names the batch is full if no one says "no thanks".

When I have 10 names I'll start to package the kits and get the cost for shipping. When all this is ready I confirm this to everyone and then you send the money to me with with paypal. I hope this sounds like a fair set up!

the eight names I have so far is:
1 Freedman
2 the stig
3 Highfield
4 Talat
5 SML
6 Redcoat
7 bpras (you get one kit to be fair)
8 Milutintin
9 ??
10 ??

If you´re on the list and want to stay there don't do anything more. If you want out, send a PM.

If you want kit no 9 or 10 just post in the thread and type "I want one, pleeaassee". I'll use the timeline/clock to decide the order.

Best,

Thomas
