That is just beautiful, a true candy store. Lately I have been having these strange dreams were I sold the house, put the wife and kids up for sale, so I could afford to send my car to Neinmeister, then I wake up in a sweat with the wife saying "what is wrong dear, have you had those Neinmeister dreams again?"
Keep up the excellent work and please keep us posted on all the updates.

Colin and Marc & all other Ninemeister staff, thanks for talking care of us this afternoon and the lessons learnt. It was indeed an enjoyable day out and looking forward to see the project progressing and eventually finished and test it anywhere! You guys know ................ where the sun goes, we go.

There are various reasons I suppose:
1. "That's the way that Porsche did it" (on the 964/993 RSCS, N-GT, Cup & RS-R's)
2. Cages are stronger when the bars are triangulated from areas of strength
3. Low front end allows relatively unrestricted access for driver & passenger
4. Doors have door bars installed, hence adding to the protection
5. If further protection is required at a later date you can add another bar to make a X
6. Cage is FIA approved with this design

Freud works in mysterious ways....

... I blame the wife for turning your Ninemeister dreams into a Neinmeister reality.

("nein" being German for "no" as opposed to Nine being all things Nine(eleven).)

Can't say I can fault your ultimate plan, but there again I've never met your wife & kids. In any case, glad you're enjoying the build, so keep watching as there is a lot more exciting stuff to come.

Sorry Colin, yes I did realized my spelling mistake, could be a result of all those nights of deep REM sleep, where I kept repeating "Nein, nein, Sie können es sich nicht leisten"

Hmmmmmmm i would'nt mind the doors and the bonnet!!!!!then maybe the tailgate possibly the wings but then for this light weight gear, is it correct in me saying that the car needs to be reinforced, hence the cage.

pfff nice craftmanship there.
Although I think carbon has a lot of advantages I would be scared how it reacts to a collision or crash at speed. I believe it is strong, but how does it cope with collision type forces etc.

never the less, this seems to be going a very unique Porsche.

I dont think there will be a problem with this amount of carbon panels. lots of Carbon panels=lots of Strong cage cabin protection!

Sorry for lack of updates, me and Marc have been busy on other stuff for the last week or two but should be back on it soon. Next job is to retro convert the rear light apertures & deck to take the impact bumper lights & reflector.
