FAREWELL BROTHER
Chet and I went to college together when the family were still California. I remember the ups and downs that we had. Chet was like an older brother to me. I really look up to him. I still have a lot of vivid memories of our past times. We were both very big Porsche fans. Especially the 911s Turbo. It was our goal that one day we would each own one of those beauties. If I didn't know any better, he probably had already accomplish that goal. Even though we haven't spoken to each other in years, he will always be a big brother to me.

Yes, an old thread but still sad. I'm not sure Chet owned a Turbo but from what I remember he had a white 964 coupe.
I noticed deep_UV posted earlier in the thread. I'm pretty sure he has passed also (again at an early age).

Thank you. At least I know now he did get one. If you don't mind me asking, do you know what happened? It would put me at ease knowing what happen.

From what I hear third hand was it was self inflicted, in front of his wife.
I wish her a full recovery from the trauma she must have gone through. Pray for his parents as well, they lost both their children at an early age, Chet's brother was killed in a car accident years at way too young of an age 24.
His parents came from the Philippines for a better life for their children, I have such sorrow for them, although one may never fully recover we can pray God can bring peace back into the lives of Chet's wife and parents.

I apologize for bringing this back, but I really miss Chet. I helped him work on his 964 years ago, and it seems like yesterday.
He was a great friend and neighbor, and may he rest in peace.
