Wanted - 964 C2 Coupe
Hello to the 964 brethren. I just sold my '73 911E and am looking for its replacement. I've been searching all the regular channels daily - Autotrader, Pelican, cars.com, ebay, Rennlist, Craigslist, Sportscar Market, PCA. I'm having a hard time finding what I'm looking for, so I thought it can't hurt to make a post too. Who knows, maybe one of you is thinking of selling.
I'm looking for 964 C2 Coupe, manual transmission. No C4, Cabs, no Targas (no offense, they are all good cars, but a C2 Coupe fits my needs and wants best). Must have good records. Prefer blues, greens or gray paint colors, but could be open to others. No Linen (white) interiors. Mild mechanical mods okay - Cup 1 wheels, bypass exhaust and lowered suspension are a plus. But I want a stock look, no big wings or body kits. The goal of this car is to have a/c and a back seat to haul the family around, so I can't do stripped interiors or roll bars. Looking for low-ish mileage (around 75k), but a little higher is okay if there is a good paper trail of maintenance. Budget max is in the low to mid $20s.
For example, if someone had the clone to the car in this link, the check would be in the mail:

I'm in Charlotte, NC but will travel or ship for the right car. Please PM me or email to tmorgan66 at bellsouth dot net.
Thanks,
Tom

Time for a bump. I've gotten a couple of good options but would like to see a few more if they are out there. Thanks everybody.

Click on the link or cut and paste; all the usual suspects at the top but scroll down, it is a long process but the dealers often get what you are looking for and don't know what they have. The only problem is they then price by the book so you have to grind them, a lot.
I wanted exactly what you do except no beige interiors and lucked out with Cobalt over navy blue leather.
One other thing; don't be too stuck on the mileage, mine has 140,000 but passed the PPI easily and the R Gruppe mechanic I use here said it is one of the tightest, fastest C2s he has driven. If they are looked after properly the mileage is fine and if they haven't been looked after 75,000 the damage is done anyway.
Good luck.

Wow! My wife's gonna wonder why I'm spending 24 hours a day on the computer, but I'm going to need that time to go through all these! Thanks, that's cool.
