CUP 8 and 9.5 inch
Has anyone install 8" front and/or 9.5" rear CUP I wheels on a 964 RS America. What size tires are needed? Do the wheels fit or will they rub on a lowered car?

Std equipment on 964 Cups.
Depending on offset, you may end up running a 21mm OEM spacer in the rear.
You may also need/want to roll the fenders......(of course I just left the door open to "RSAmerica roller fender legends.....crap) depending on ride height.

I PM'd you back and Ilko has the right tire size. The rear tires were just a tad taller but in the end, it's a relatively inexpensive setup when you match your 17X8 cups with after market 17X9.

RS 9.5x18 are ET47

The last 9.5 x 17 I found I had to get out of Germany (about $1100 delivered). I could only find complete sets in the US, and there were only a couple of those around.
PM me if you want the source from Germany.

I run those wheels on a US CC with tires that ilko mentions above, they work great at track. Car has rolled fenders a fair amount of negative camber and 964 cup suspension.

I have 8/9.5 x 17 Cup wheels on my '93 RSA. You'll need spacers with lugs or longer studs on the rear. I have a set of new H&R spacers with studs (in the box, never installed). PM me if you're interested.

The 21 mm spacer required was also fitted to the rear of early 944s with the Fuchs alloy wheel option and are not uncommon to find at Porsche salvage yards... cheap.
Porsche sells the spacer under two part numbers the 944 uses an Audi part number 477.501.701, the identical 21 mm spacer is also fitted to early 930 Turbos and is part number 930.341.065.00, which of course costs 3 to 4 times what the 944 part costs...for the same part, different number!!!
The longer studs required for the spacer are 911.331.671.00

The 21mm spacers on my Cup are the 944 part from a Porsche salvage yard, $25 IIRC.

9.5 Cup 1 on RSA
- If you’re still on here - would love to see how the rear wheels/tires fit in in relation to the arch lip, and also what tire size? Thank you!

Nordschleife Master
The car in this photo belongs to Rennlister "Super90" and is running the wheel setup being discussed in this thread with the 21mm rear spacer. I believe he's on a 225/255 tyre.
