Just b/c it's made of wood, doesn't mean it's not safe. Houses support a lot more weight than that car. It needs to be built right, of course.

I absolutely agree, with the proper inner supports, this would easily hold up a car. I have not had to analyze wooden structures since my college days (35 years ago), but box girders are extremely sturdy. ….most bridges are box design, do you stay off of them?

Default overseas lift

yeah that one from england is nice, its about 1200 for it will accept tires in the groove up 10 inches i believe. very nice product. i emailed them to see if its available in the states.

Its the ramp leading up to the box section that would worry me.
