I remeber seeing the Speedsters in the dealer when they were new. They did not get a lot. Many people did not like the sporty seats....

Beautiful! Love the bad boy look of that lower roof and those seats look great even if my bfa does not fit in them...

I thought the Speedster had a turbo body. Am I remembering something else or just making stuff up?

I think Roadsters are wide body and speedsters are not. Hopefully someone else chimes in with fact.

That is correct. Roadsters were Turbo Look, Speedsters were based on the C2. That is reported to be the cause of the low sales compared to the previous 911 Speedster. There were reportedly 20 special order wide body 964 Speedsters built, 14 were RHD.

94 Speedsters were all narrow body.

Just like the 89 Speedster (which was wide body less tail) it was Porsche's way to use up the last of the 964 tubs.

The America Roadster came with the turbo body less tail...

High priced, or not, sadly this is where the market is. There was a near identical one here locally about 5 years ago (but not really low miles) that went for about $35K. But five years ago that was more "out there" for me than $75K is now. But now I've just lost interest.

i am on the hunt for a new special air-cooled car.. i like it... but for $75k I will take a 3.6 turbo or 993tt ... that is a lot of dough
